Well the weekend was full of surprises. Felt like the height of summer with many customers through the door and numerous fish going to their new owners. The polytunnel here is looking rather thin on koi! Great timing really, as we're off to Japan in 9 days, and expect the new koi to arrive mid November.

Here is another koi in Japan we hope to see when we visit. This koi was one of Murata's top Tosai in Spring, we expect her to be around 56-58cm as Nisai this harvest. Murata beni at it's best.
