Sekiguchi Grow Out Results!

Thank you to everyone that took part in the Sekiguchi Grow Out competition. Results are now in!
Appreciate all of your patience while we collated the results from the Main Award judged by the very busy Sekiguchi, and the People's Choice poll on Facebook.

The main award was judged by Masayuki-san of Sekiguchi Koi Farm. With this Koi he was looking for what he deemed as Tategoi, and one that he personally would keep at the farm to continue to grow on to Sansai.

Well done to... Jason Perry!

This koi exhibits good head & body structure, soft silky Beni that runs consistently throughout the Koi, tight refunded Motoguro, good sumi quality still with plenty of development to do. It also looks Female, which is a bonus. Now 42cm, Jason has done a fine job! Congratulations. Jason receives a £250.00 E-Wallet credit. Nice!

Next, the People's Choice award. This was unanimous. Receiving 19 votes, it stormed out in front and there it remained. 2nd and 3rd place both received 10 votes.

Congratulations to Lee Bailey.

A tidy Showa with bags of potential. Certainly one that should look great in the future. Sumi is starting to make an appearance nicely, the beni plate is expanding with the koi and the pattern oozes class. A bit more body and this would have been in the running for the main award. Will be great to see this in a few years time. Well done to Lee, he'll receive a 10kg bag of JPD Shogun Koi Food.
