Nagaoka Koi Show 2017

A nice bit of news coming in from Japan and the Yagenji brothers.

We purchased three Nisai Showa last Autumn and left one as Azukari for the summer in the care of Yagenji.

On harvest, Daisuke-san messaged me to say how good our Showa was looking! To my surprise he said he wanted to enter it into the upcoming Nagaoka Koi Show.

Low and behold, Daisuke must have been right when he said it was looking good. As it picked up a 2nd Place award.

Packing some serious body now, it's sure to be an imposing Koi. She will be shipped home in a few weeks time.
