This fantastic Ueno Showa that is bound to surprise in years to come.
An excellent frame and body line for a Showa, with a beautiful balanced pattern topped off with an inspiring head pattern. The Sumi is of the highest quality, this is evident from the jet black motoguro in both pectorals, and also where the sumi falls on the white ground.
Lovely thick beni showing a consistent depth in sashi. Which gives it great elasticity as the koi grows.
This koi is certainly one to watch for the future, knowing what Ueno can achieve in their growing systems, we are really quite excited to see this one in a years time!
Around 18 months old and 55cm, a very good size is definitely achievable here.
